Clay Family Eastern Glades | Memorial Park Conservancy | Houston | DeeDee + Jason

We were so excited to be one of the first photographers to shoot a wedding / engagement / couple session at the Clay Family Eastern Glades, located inside the Memorial Park Conservancy in Houston. We nearly walked through over 100 acres of previously inaccessible parkland that was restored to a more natural eco-system, with wetlands, savannah, pine-hardwood forests, habitats and more than 150 species of native plants. There are plenty of boardwalks and picnic areas and even a 5.5 acre Hines Lake where we can see turtles and other animals making it their new home.

DeeDee and Jason were real troopers as they fought the August heat and provided us with some breathtaking shots. This gorgeous couple made it so easy and fun for us that we lost track of time and only left when the park was about to close after dusk. The result is a timeless, romantic and dramatic collection for them to cherish for a very long time.
